دھرتی کے خدا بنتے ہیں یہاں

انکو بھی ذرا کو ئی دے سزا

مہروں کی طرح کبھی چلا رہے ہوتے ہیں وہ ہم کو

پانی کی طرح کبھی بہا رہے ہوتے ہیں وہ ہم کو

وہ شمعوں کی طرح کبھی جلا رہے ہوتے ہیں وہ ہم کو

لمحوں کی طرح کبھی گوا رہے ہوتے ہیں وہ ہم کو

وہ ستمگر ہیں انہیں کیا جئیں یا مریں

ہو ستم جو بھی اسے ہم گوارہ کریں

وہ یہی چاہیں کہ دم ہم انہی کا بھریں

ہم جھکیں آگے انہی کےانہی سے ڈریں

آتے ہیں سبھی یہاں کبھی نہیں جائیں گے وہ جیسے

کرتے ہیں جفا کوئی سذا نہیں پائیں گے وہ جیسے

انسے یہ کہو چلے گۓ یہاں کیسے کیسے آ کے
