I received the following in a text message soon after the resignation of Musharraf.
Ham Sab Shugal Laga Rahay Thay ‘Faraz’
Musharraff tau Mind Hee Karr Gaya
The following are contributed by Samad Khurram, they are not political neither do they relate to the current situation but are interesting. This Faraz series of SMS started when the wrong news of Faraz’s death broke out. People started sending some very nice verses of Faraz but when they got to know that the news was not correct, they stayed doing what you can read …

Musharraf saltues Imran Khan – declassified !

I don’t know where this snapshot has been in the past and why is it out this late, but this is definitely interesting. Musharraf won’t even have a clue that this man will be one of his most blatant and bold critics.

This was probably taken at SKMCH back in 2000/01 when Musharraf was looking for political partners to prolong his rule.

Now we can see through the fog – the artificially created duplicitous fog to misguide the people of Pakistan by the two-faced stance of PPP. Ever since the Musharraf’s ruling coalition started losing its credibility and the PPP started to get an increased level of attention in the media, it has either remained neutral or taken a stance which lacks blinding clarity.
It is the same PPP which had been known as a symbol of resistance against oppression, dictatorship and foreign involvement in national politics. Back in 70s, the PPP managed …

24 members of the new cabinet have taken oath. Most of them are political opponents of Musharraf, eager to curtail his powers. Musharraf remained grim-faced throughout the ceremony in Islamabad. Several of these ministers taking oath were jailed by Musharraf in the past and he ousted the PML(N)’s government back in 1999 by a military coup. The prime Minister, Gilani himself spent five years in prison under Musharraf’s rule. No party head attended the swearing-in and the members of PML(N) taking oath sported black arm bands to show their defiance …

“Within 48 hours of the signing of the Murree Declaration between Pakistan’s two leading political parties, we yet again have been hit by the magnitude of the internal security challenge we collectively face. The fifth round of post-election suicide bombing attacks has hit Lahore. Over 25 more of our precious Pakistani people have died and many more precious ones from the badly injured too will go. Beginning with the endless spate of 2007 suicide attacks Pakistan is now regularly bathed in blood. There is no redline left to cross now …
