President, Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), Aitzaz Ahsan has given a call for a Black Flag week to be observed all across the country. This is to commemorate the illegal deposition of judges and to demand their restoration. Sunday, March 9th, 2007 was the first day of this week. Pervez Musharraf is considering stepping down as president of Pakistan rather than waiting to be forced out by his victorious opponents, aides have told The Sunday Telegraph.

The Government has blocked access to popular video sharing website YouTube in Pakistan. The following is an email circulated by an ISP to its customers on querying them about YouTube not working.
Dear Valued Customer:
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (www.pta.gov.pk) has directed all ISPs of the country to block access to www.youtube.com web site for containing blasphemous web content/movies.
